In accordance with the successfull methodology of work previously applied by the Spanish Network on issues such as human rights and sustainable tourism, the Working Group on Food and Drinks has just been created on May. The objective is to identify the SDGs and issues in which the sector, one of the most important for the Spanish economy, can have more impact. Good practices will be compiled to accompany the actions, as well as indicators to measure the progress of companies and examples of partnerships between different actors.

The first meeting took place on May 2017 and 3 or 4 face-to-face meetings are planned for this year. In the first quarter of 2018 the results will be presented with publication. During these months, not only the entities of the working group, but also all the Spanish signatories of the sector will have the opportunity to have the most complete vision of the challenges and opportunities in the contribution to 2030 Agenda.
