Network Spain presents the publication NGOs facing the Sustainable Development Goals (in Spanish), in collaboration with NGOs Platform for Social Action. The publication highlights the work of NGOs within the framework of the challenges of Agenda 2030 and adapts an internationally recognised management model to this type of entity.

The guide is presented as a tool to highlight the contribution of NGOs projects and programmes aimed at ending poverty, reducing inequalities and supporting vulnerable groups, among other issues, and encouraging their positive impact on SDGs. In addition, the guide also stresses the importance of identifying and measuring this impact in order to evaluate its performance and establish long-term objectives.

The methodology proposed is an adaptation of the SDG Compass – developed by the UN Global Compact, GRI and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to provide guidance for companies on how they can align their strategies as well as measure and manage their contribution to the realization of the SDGs- translated into the language and characteristics of NGOs.
